Ms Deb E has 40+ years of sewing experience with a flair for alterations and redesign! She will take a garment, restyle or redesign it to fit the unique you!

While employed by the School of Social Work at U of M, Ms Deborah was the Program Coordinator for the non-profit organization EZLink. Under the watch of Dr Larry Gant at U of M and Pam Campbell at The Family Place, she developed excellent training skills and helped others develop Microsoft Office skills. Once the EZlink program ended, Ms Deborah decided to take those teaching skills and apply it to fashion sew tutoring!

 With Fashion Runway Sew Tutor, students learn basic garment construction and fit with some industry techniques adapted from Connie Crawford of Fashion Patterns by Coni and Janet Pray of Islander Sewing Systems.  As a student of both, she decided to share (@ Detroit Sewing Spot) what she learned to help others desiring to learn how to sew or improve their techniques! Fashion sewing is fun and as a skill, it provides self confidence and enrichment!
